Michael Lonardo, Founder and Creative Director

Michael Lonardo has been a graphic designer and marketing consultant focusing on small business and nonprofits in and around New York City for over fifteen years. His firm—eminjay design—specializes in print/web design and marketing for nonprofits and small businesses including arts and education organizations such as Lincoln Center, Columbia University, Drew University, Tiffany Mills Company, Cora Dance, New York Stage and Film, and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, among many others; as well as small businesses including Gigi’s Cupcakes, Maplecrest Ford Lincoln/Mustang Sally’s Now, Puppy Love Spa, and J. Rossi Law Firm.

Mike has also created a series of typography map prints, exploring the intersection of print design, data analysis, and fine art, while chronicling his travels around the world.

Before founding eminjay, Mike served as the Publications Manager for The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and the Director of Marketing at HERE Arts Center in SoHo. Mike is a graduate of Drew University and studied design at the New School.
